Aboyne Games Day

After our short summer break we are now looking forward to getting back to our regular fortnightly meeting - starting from this Saturday (7th August). This is going to be a busy, exciting day as it coincides with the Aboyne Highland Games. For the first time the Fellowship has arranged to have a stall at the games. We will be giving away, free, various things  - from bookmarks to Bilbles; from water to rainbow sticks!  We will also be offering prayer for healing. There are many other things planned  - all to try to let those attending the Games feel God's love for them.  Come and see us - you may be surprised by what we are up to!
The evening meeting will be later on in the day at it's usual time at 6.30pm in the Scout Hall.
Have a great Games Day!!
By the way, look out for the Icecream van in the village this week - there may be something else for nothing!

Fellowship Meal

This Saturday (26th June) will be a time for eating, socialising and worshiping in the Scout Hall. We will meet at our usual time of 6.30pm and start with a cold buffet meal. This will be followed by a worship time and then by Communion. Everyone is welcome - come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of worship.
There will be a further meeting on the 12th of July but no meeting on the 24th of July due to holidays. We will however be back into our usual two weekly routine of meetings starting on August the 7th - Games day!
During July we will be organising prayer walks around Aboyne. This will be every Thursday in July starting on the 8th - leaving at 7.30pm from the Scout Hall. This is a very easy, satisfying and powerful way to help our village. Please join us if you can and ask God's blessing on Aboyne and district.

Prayer for healing

If you would like someone to pray with you for God’s healing, be it physical, spiritual or emotional, then come along to the Scout Hut, Ballater Road, Aboyne, this Saturday (17th April) between 1400-1500hrs, where you can meet with members of a prayer team either in a small tent just outside, or in the warmth of the building itself. Confidentiality is assured. Prayer will only take a few minutes, and is completely free.
We will also be walking around Aboyne between 1200 and 1300 to ask God's blessing on all parts of the village. If you are free then please join us in this easy and satisfying task.
